Ahmed Hoosen Deedat, a man whose voice of courage and truth served as a beacon of light, amidst the prejudice and hypocrisy of the neo-missionary crusaders of the 20th century and amidst the gloom cast by the oppressive injustices of the capitalist world order, has finally passed away into the presence of his Lord. Sheikh Ahmed Hoosen Deedat was a world renowned Muslim Scholar of Comparative Religion. He was a founder member of the Islamic Propagation Centre International (IPCI), Durban, and its President. He has authored and published several books and distributed millions of copies free of charge. Ahmed Deedat is considered as one the great missionary scholars of Christology both from Islamic and Christian sides. As the studies about 'Deedatian Revolution' imply that it had far-reaching results, it could be analyzed as zealous effort of puritan Muslim to save whole human kind from absurd and superseded beliefs. The South African preacher, Ahmed Deedat, has developed a specific discourse on the nature of relations between Muslims and Other religions through polemic and public debates.
